Important information

What to do

Before treatment

Tanning, sun exposure and medication

At least 4 weeks before treatment, any type of tanning – sun exposure, fake tanning or solariums - should be avoided, as the effectiveness of laser treatment may decrease on tanned skin. Shave the treatment area one day before. The laser reacts to the melanin in the hair follicles, so removing the hair roots – for example, through waxing – can affect the effectiveness of the treatment. If you are under medical care, consult with your doctor to ensure there are no contraindications for laser hair removal.

What to do

After treatment

Skincare, sun exposure and activities
You may experience mild redness and swelling immediately after treatment, which is normal. You can use a gentle, water-based moisturizer and an after-sun cooling cream/gel on the area. For the next 24 hours, avoid saunas, steam baths and strenuous exercise. After 3 days you can resume using active cosmetic ingredients, and a week later, you can resume exfoliating. It is important to use a high SPF sunscreen after the treatment to minimise the risk of skin irritation and pigmentation.

What to do

Cancelling or rescheduling your appointment

Please notify us at least 24 hours before you appointment

If you wish to modify or cancel your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours before the treatment through our contact information. Failure to modify or cancel the appointment in a timely manner will result in an additional fee during your next treatment. Timely notification helps us efficiently schedule our treatments and allows other clients the opportunity to use available time slots.
